Dave is a performance experiment that examines the passing of stories. Audience members are invited to tell a personal story into a microphone. The movement artists of Fly on a Wall then respond physically to the tones, imagery, and energy passed to them through the audiences story. Passing is used as a form; a configuration that guides by experience, providing the architecture of a moment, and granting those involved a structure on which to hang their thoughts, feelings, and responses.
Dave highlights a fresh take on listening and being together.
*Dave premiered at MOCA/GA in 2015 as a part of the Walthall Fellow's group show, Portalism
